LAB 5 UPGRADE & DOWNGRADE RouterBoard


Tujuan Pembelajaran:
The Purpose:
  1. Mengetahui cara upgrade versi mikrotik pada RouterBoard
  2. Mengetahui cara downgrade mikrotik pada RouterBoard 
  1. To know upgrade mikrotik version on RouterBoard
  2. To know downgrade mikrotik version on RouterBoard

Konsep Dasar
Basic Concepts

Upgrade adalah suatu aktifitas yang dilakukan untuk memperbarui/menaikan level ataupun memeperbarui fitur yang berada pada aplikasi sehingga mendapatkan manfaat yang lebih biasanya mengurangi bug pada aplikasi/software versi sebelumnya. Downgrade adalah menurunkan level pada aplikasi sebelumnya. Downgrade dilakukan bila terdapat bug atau ketidak sesuaian pada mikrotik yang sedang aktif. Misalnya ada fitur-fitur tertentu yang tidak berjalan sesuai dengan yang diharapkan.

Upgrade is an activity undertaken to update / level up or updating features that are in the application so as to benefit more typically reduce bugs in applications / software versions earlier. Downgrade is to lower the level of the previous application. Downgrade done when there is a bug or discrepancies in the current proxy. For example there are certain features that are not running as expected.



Konfigurasi:

Upgrade versi Mikrotik pada RouterBoard

  • Untuk melakukan Upgrade Mikrotik pada RouterBoard sebelumnya anda harus mempunyai file OS Mikrotiknya yang bisa anda download di situs resmi Mikrotiknya
  • Jika sudah mempunyai file OS Mikrotiknya maka anda harus menginport filenya dengan cara copy paste (copas)
  • lalu pastekan file tersebut pada RoterBoard 
  • kemudian Reboot system tersebut

  • Jika sudah,masuk lagi ke winbox lalu pilih System -> Resource
  • taraaa sudah berhasill~

Downgrade versi Mikrotik pada RouterBoard

  • Download terlebih dahulu OS mikrotik yang ingin kita gunakan. Pastikan OS yang kita download sesuai dengan RouterBoard yang kita miliki. Kalian dapat mendownload OS Mikrotik pada www.routeros.co.id .
  1. x86 digunakan untuk PC Router, RB230
  2. mipsbe digunakan untuk jenis RB400, RB700, SXT , Omnitik dan Groove
  3. mipsle digunakan untuk RB100, RB500
  4. ppc/powerpc digunakan untuk RB600, RB1000, dan RB800.
Pada percobaan kali ini saya menggunakan RB951G-2HnD(mipsbe) yang menggunakan MikrotikOS versi 6.27 dan akan saya downgrade menjadi versi 6.15.
  • Jika kalian sudah memiliki OS mikrotik yang akan kalian gunakan. Copy kan file.npk OS tersebut lalu inport pada RouterBoard.
  • Lalu inport (paste) filenya ke RoterBoardnya
  • Jika sudah masuk System -> Packages lalu klik Downgrade
  • Jika sudah selesai mereboot, masuk lagi ke RouterBoardnya untuk mengecek berhasil atau tidak mendowngradenya. dengan cara System -> Resource lalu lihat versinya.

LAB 2 Installation MikroTik via Qemu




  • THE PURPOSE
- To know the steps to make qemu disk image in GNS3
- To find out how to use qemu in GNS3
- To find out how to install MikroTik via qemu

  • THE BASIC CONCEPTS
         It has been many are installing the MikroTik use qemu in GNS3. Because, GNS3 is easier to use and can create in order to better understand the network topology. In GNS3, there is a software called QEMU. So far, we make use of Virtual Box Virtualization, VMWare, etc. Qemu can for virtualization but is usually used in MikroTik qemu, Juniper, etc.
To create a disk image MikroTik, use the command CMD. After creating a disk image MikroTik, then install MikroTik use qemu. To install MikroTik also use the cmd command. After that, the image Mikrotik must be deployed to GNS3 and to run it using GNS3.

  • CONFIGURATION
Here are the steps to make qemu MikroTik in GNS3.

Before opening cmd, copy ISO MikroTik prior to installation GNS3 location and go to the folder qemu version 2.1.0. Run cmd to run the Administrator



Go to programs GNS3 installation and entry into qemu version 2.1.0. Then create a disk image MikroTik. After that, run a disk image that has been created and includes MikroTik ISO that are copied



After that, we select what features you want to install. To select all press "a" and if you want to choose a package, press "space". If you have selected a package you want to install, press "i". If you really want to install press "y". Appears warnings All data on the disk will be erase all then press "y". In summary is "aiyy" If all the packages you want installed.


After installation is complete, press "Enter" to restart and closing qemu window.'



Open GNS3 and click on "Edit > Preferences"



Click the Qemu VMs and click new to deploying the image previously created. Then fill qemu name then click "Next"


Use qemu 32-bit system, because previously when we use 32 bits. Then "Next"

After that, replace the symbols used in a "Right-click > Chane the symbol and then find a logo the router" and then "Ok"

LAB 1 Introduce Mikrotik




THE PURPOSE OF WRITING:
  1. To know what is the meaning of MikroTik
  2. To know what is the history of MikroTik
  3. To know the features that exist in MikroTik
  4. To know type or model of RouterBoard
THE MEANING OF MIKROTIK:

            MikroTik itself is an operating system for the needs of the router that is installed on the computer so that the computer can control or regulate the course of the data on the network. There are several operating systems owned utility as a router, one of the popular operating system router and has the advantage of user convenience is MikroTik RouterOS.

THE HISTORY OF MIKROTIK:

             In 1996 John and Arnis start with Linux and MS DOS system combined with the technology of Wireless LAN (W-LAN) AERONET speed of 2Mbps in Moldova. Only then serve five customers in Latvia, because their ambition is to create a software router reliable and distributed throughout the world. The basic principle MikroTik not make the Wireless ISP (WISP), but it makes the program a router that is reliable and can run around the world. Until now, MikroTik has served about four hundred customers.

             Linux which they use first is Kernel 2.2 which was developed jointly with the help of 5-15 people R & D staff Mikrotik who now rule the world routing in developing countries. [3] In addition to the staff in the Mikrotik, according to Arnis, they recruit well freelance personnel and third parties to develop Mikrotik intensive marathon

THE TYPE OF MIKROTIK:

  • MikroTik RouterOS
MikroTik RouterOS is the operating system that can run on a PC and make the PC as a reliable network router. For MikroTik installation, do not require additional devices or additional components. To donwload the ISO version MikroTik, can access the www.mikrotik.com/download. If we install MikroTik to PC, we are given 24 hours to immediately purchase a license MikroTik. For PC specifications, superior to RouterBoard.


  • MikroTik RouterBoard
MikroTik RouterBoard is a mini PC that is integrated as a board formed then contained in the processor, RAM, ROM, and flash memory. A RouterBoard already installed the operating system and existing MikroTik license itself. RouterBoard as well as RouterOS ie as a router but RouterBoard designed with small but with a specification that is. In naming RouterBoard is a version or there is a meaning.



The naming of RouterBoard
In the naming RB, there is the 3-digit number that is,
- The first digit is digit to distinguish the series
- The second digit is digit indication of the number of ports wired (Ethernet)
- The third digit is indicative of the number of wireless interfaces
- Name, if the board has a change in the hardware (such as a different CPU) version name will be added at the end of its type name
- Special type, such as the series MikroTik RouterBoard 600, 800, 1000, 1100, 1200, 2011 has its own type or have a port number more than 9, so that his name be simplified using a number of hundred or year of manufacture

The features of RouterBoard
After the 3-digit number, then there are features of the RB
- U is a USB
- P is the power injection with controller
- I, single port power injection without controller
- A memory that is more Besai (and also usually higher license level)
- H is more powerful CPU
- G is using Gigabit Ethernet
- L is saving package or lite edition
- S is SPF port (legacy usage - SwitchOS devices)
- E is a PCIe interface card extention
- X <N> is "N" is the number of CPU cores (x2, x16, x36)

- 750, Type series to 7 with 5 ethernet port and no wireless interface


RB750GL
- RB (RouterBoard)
- 750, Type series to 7 with 5 ethernet port and no wireless interface
- GL, Using Gigabit Ethernet and serial thrifty.


If the RB has a built-in Wireless, then the additional features the format as follows:

Band
- 5 is 5Ghz
- 2 is 2.4Ghz
- 52 is dual band 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz

Power per chain
- (Not used) is "Standart" <23dBm at 6Mbps 802.11a; <24dBm at 6Mbps 802.11g
- H is "High" 23-24dBm at 6Mbps 802.11a; 24-27dBm at 6Mbps 802.11g
- HP is "High Power" 25-26dBm 6Mbps 802.11a; 28-29dBm at 6Mbps 802.11g
- SHP is "Super High Power" 27+dBm at 6Mbps 802.11.a; 30+dBm at 6Mbps 802.11g

Protocol
- (Not used) is for the network card only supports 802.11a/b/g
- n can support with 802.11.n
- ac can support with 802.11ac

Number of chain
- (Not used) is single chain
- D is dual chail
- T is triple chain

RB912UAG-5HPnD
- RB (RouterBoard)
- 912 is the type of series 1 to 9 with 2 ethernet ports and wireless interface (built-in and miniPCIe)
- UAG that has a USB port, a larger memory and Gigabit Ethernet ports
- 5HPnD that has a built-in high power dual chain 5GHz wireless card and support with 802.11n

File Sharing FTP (PROFTPD)


yaa AJom (Admin Jomblo) akan kembali memposting bagaimana cara file sharing  lewat FTP (PROFTPD). gausah pake lama dah ane deadline banget soalnya buat nilai raport AJom biar bisa pkl (jadi curhat gini) wkwk langsung aje cekidottt~

nih gan AJom kasih dulu topolginya~


Pertama, install dulu paket proftpdnya dengan mengetikkan sintaks "apt-get install proftpd" pada debian servernya (sebelumnya agan mesti mengatur IPnya terlebih dahulu dan anda harus melakukan repository dvd 2 terlebih dahulu)ohiya, jika anda memakai virtual box. networknya kita pilih menjadi "host-only adapter". jika sudah diinstall, maka anda diminta untuk memasukkan dvd 1.masukkan dan klik enter


lalu agan akan diminta memasukkan dvd 2. masukkan dvdnya dan pencet enter


pilih standalone


lalu buat 2 user seperti ini, AJom menamai usernya dengan mangki dan haha


lalu buatlah folder di masing-masing user seperti ini


kemudian pada client,masuk ke windows explorer dan tuliskan pada bagian atas ip server agan (ftp://15.15.15.1) dan masukkan user yang agan tadi buat di server. disini saya memakai user mangki



maka folder yang anda buat di user mangki tadi akan terbaca


begitu juga dengan yang di user haha



lalu coba anda buat file .txt di salah satu user


selanjutnya kita akan membuat directory terpusat agar lalu masuk ke root (/)

Lanjutan Materi Switch (Port Security) PORT SECURITY VIOLATION SHUTDOWN



      haiii braderr yang ini yang terakhir untuk materi switch. Alhamdulillah~ wkwkwk udah gaperlu basa basi langsung aja kita ke tkp.cekidottt~

Berikut ini adalah langkah langkah untuk mengkonfig port security vioalation shutdown pada switch.

1. Pertama setting IP client atau PC kita klik PC nya lalu ke Desktop lalu ke IP Configuration seperti ini. Lakukan pada PC yang lainnya juga.



2. Lalu kita setting IP Routernya.



3. Lalu coba kita test PING.


4. Lalu kita cek tabel mac addressnya.


5. Kalau sudah kita setting port security violation shutdownnya.


6. Lakukan juga setting port security violation shutdownnya pada interface 0/1 sampai 0/5.


7. Lalu setelah kita mensetting port security violation shutdownnya, lakukan perubahan mac-address routernya sebanyak 2 kali mac addressnya.


8. Setelah kita ubah, lihat hasilnya di kala sudah menggati mac address 2 kali. Pada jalur si router langsung otomatis jalurnya ke shutdown.


Lanjutan Materi Switch (Port Security) PORT SECURITY VIOLATION RESTRICT


       Haii braderr kali ini AJom akan memposting lanjutan materi switch yang selanjutnya yaitu port security violation restrict. langsung saja gann deadline banget nih. cekidottt~

Berikut ini adalah langkah langkah untuk mengkonfik port security vioalation restrict pada switch.
1. Buat terlebih dahulu topologi seperti berikut.
 


2. Kemudian setting ip di setiap pc termaksud router. Untuk menseeting ip pada pc kalian bisa lakukan di ip configuration yang terdapat pada desktop.



3. Untuk menambahkan ip pada router dapat dilakukan dengan cara berikut.


4. Jika semua pc dari 1-4 termaksud router sudah memiliki ip, sekarang kalian lakukan ping ke setiap pc termaksud router untuk mendapatkan mac address dari setiap port pada pc dan router.
5. Apabila proses ping dari pc 1 sampai pc 4 dan router berhasil Selanjutnya kalian bisa aktifkan port security violation pada FastEthernet 2-5. Perhatikan Gambar dibawah ini.

6. Jika sudah. Tambahkan mac address pada router. Dengan menggunkan perinta seperti berikut.


7. Ketika kita menambahkan mac address yang ke dua maka pada jalur router akan ke shutdown. Dan ketika kalian ping router ke pc maka akan filed
